First of all: Thanks for sharing hints and advices. Great help.

This is my first Hackintosh so I had to struggle a bit with installing.

Hardware:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H re. 1.0RAM: 8GB Crucial D3
CPU: INTEL Core I7-4790 4GHz
Graphics: Zotac GeForce GTX 760 2GB PhysX CUDA
Monitors: 2 x ACER S240HL
HD: 1 x Samsung 840 EVO MZ-7TE250 250GB SSD for system
2 x Seagate Barracuda 2TB SATA6 64MB 7200RPM (ST2000DM001) RAID 1
Case: Corsair Carbide 500R Midi Tower
PSU: Corsair RM650

Installing:

NOTE:
The BIOS had to be updated to run this version of the CPU. I had to have the supplier to do that since the mobo continued to reset.

BIOS version Gigabyte 10b 06/12/2014. I did not change that at any time as suggested elsewhere. It works alright.

I followed the installing procedure for installing Yosemite as a fresh install. Before a ran a Maverick a few days, but decided to install from scratch.

BIOS setup
  1. Load Optimised Settings
  2. Set the XMP memory profile to Profile 1
  3. Disabled Wake On LAN
  4. Enablede EHCI Hand-off
  5. Set xCHI mode from Smart Auto to Auto (XHCI Hand-off was already enabled

Boot from USB UniBeast
I had to dismantle the two Seagate discs and one monitor to stop kernel panic!?.
Boot flags: maxmem=4096 nv_disable=1 npci=0x3000

Boot Yosemite from USB first
Boot flags: maxmem=4096 nv_disable=1

If you get at kernel panic - don't panic - try once more. I had to try a few times.

Run MultiBeast and install the drivers needed.
  1. LAN: AppleIntelE1000e
  2. Audio: Realtek ALC898

Everything is working fine and stable now - no crashes :headbang:

Please provide more information about your Multibeast configuration and to be more specific about how you got your audio working cause i cant manage to make it work....

Thanks,
Ribben
