Hackintosh success Yosemite 10.10.5 from original OSX from Apple Store

Configuration:

Core i7 4790k LGA 1150
Motherboard: Asus Z97m-plus br (the non br version is identical)
Memory: 24GB DDR3 1866MHz

Video: Onboard Intel HD 4600 Plugged in DVI cable

What is working:

Sleep, Video, Network, Bluetooth 2.0 and 3.0 (did not get to test since I have no device 3.0), Audio Front and Rear, iCloud

Problems:
Sound stops working coming back from Sleep

Small inconveniences:
Sometimes, mainly backing from sleep, the video is wheezing like a TV without signal or static. Just wait a minute back to normal alone.
The USB mouse and keyboard have a short break just after login, when they remain unanswered for a few seconds. Not so with the SMBIOS iMac14,2 but does not bother me as I left the way it is

Installation Process

There is the option of using UniBeast + MultiBeast. In my case this way, was in trouble for sleep and hibernation, the computer restarted shortly after going into sleep and so kept repeating until withdrawn from sleep mode by pressing up something.

So, I made an installation with Clover. In the process, I found that Clover is more interesting for updates because you can do a lot in the boot without having to change the Apple system, such as installing kexts, inject and fixing ACPI tables, exchange SMBIOS, among others.

This feature to install kexts on the fly is very interesting, because the system updates in apple store will work in theory without much effort

Installation instructions via UEFI contained in http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/144426-how-install-os-x-yosemite-using-clover.html

You will need a Mac or a hackintosh to do so. Download the Yosemite system at the Apple Store and create the USB as the clover's instructions. You can use config.plist-Intel-HD4600-desktop file or use the config.plist file attached.

In the attached file, I use the iMac15,1 system because it has a Core i7 4790k processor and a Radeon video card. You can also use the SMBIOS a iMac14,2 which has a core i7 4771 and Nvidia. Both work very well, if you use an Nvidia card, the use of iMac14,2 could more interesting, in my case I opted for 15,1 because of the identical processor

Use the kexts in the zip file. Has everything you need to run except the audio.

Update the BIOS to the latest version on the website of Asus http://www.asus.com/br/Motherboards/Z97MPLUSBR/HelpDesk_Download/

Set the BIOS to default. The only change needed was to put the UEFI to other systems.
Check the settings:

Advanced -> PCH Storage Configuration -> SATA Mode Selection -> AHCI
Advanced -> System Agent Configuration -> VT-d -> DISABLED
Boot -> Secure Boot -> OS Type -> Other OS
Click for Z97-Deluxe motherboard in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vtzWPO1740

Place the Pen Drive and follow the Clover installation instructions as link http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/144426-how-install-os-x-yosemite-using-clover.html

For the boot is not necessary any startup parameter.

After installing Yosemite with clover and create UEFI partition, copy the kexts attached to the corresponding folder of clover.

For the audio follow the instructions at: https://github.com/toleda/audio_RealtekALC
Basically just download the audio_realtekALC-110.sh file and run it through the terminal. It will detect the audio and make the clover patch.

To iCloud, install Clover Configurator and Generate a SMBIOS for the model you want, also create a serial or use a serial you own and match the SMBIOS. Check the serial in https://selfsolve.apple.com/ make sure it is not a serial of a real mac owned by other people, it is really important, in my first attempt I generated a serial of an existing Mac. The site should respond with an error warning that did not locate the serial in their databases.
In my case I chose iMac15,1 and clicked a few times in shake of the Week Manufacturer and Unit Number options. To iCloud function it needs a serial that matches the SMBIOS

SMBIOS is an important part of MacOSX because it says the hardware what the machine has. Unlike Windows and Linux, Apple's system does not detect the hardware during startup, this is because the apple has a limited set and controlled hardware, is faster just to know what model is the mac. This is particularly important for the power CPU management function correctly. If you hardware has no close better match, use the MacPro 3.1 as it is the most flexible.

Detail: The serial system is sent to Apple, do not change it often, that is, do not change Smbios often. Choose what resembles your hardware, processor first, then graphics card.

I do not have dedicated graphics card for now.

I tried a solution to the audio that stops working after sleep, but still can not solve, although this is not bothering me much, and can wait

If you use virtual machines enable the Intel Virtualization Technology in the BIOS:

Advanced -> CPU Configuration -> Intel Virtualization Technology

My processor support Intel VT-d but VMware Fusion does not. It doesn't seem to make a difference so leave the way you want (if you processor supports). If you want to enable use:

Advanced -> System Agent Configuration -> VT-d -> ENABLED

That is my first computer with parts specific projected for hackintosh. Thank all hackintosh community for the effort :headbang:

I decide to do that because in my country the apple computers are crazy expensive, an iMac i5 (there is no i7 for the moment) similar to my build cost R$ 15.099,00 ($4314) my build was R$ 3.200 ($914). That is 4.71 times more expansive and beats the i5 3.2Ghz 16Gb RAM by far. The similar Mac Pro cost R$ 22.599 ($6456) that is insanely 7.06 times the cost (without the video card). I also own a i5 macbook pro 2011 I buy in a time when the cost compensate, but I think apple brazil get complete non sense prices in the last few years. They always have hight prices by the way.
