I get the audio in my monitor through hdmi interface of my nvidia, it's fine for my.

The only issue is the volumen controls are not working.

BR,

BIOS
In BIOS, you can disable iGPU by going to:
Advanced > System Agent (SA) Configuration > Graphics Configuration > Primary Display > PEG
Save & Reboot

So you do actually use only the dedicated gpu and not the iGpu ?
I am doing a CustoMac on nearly the same config (Mobo + cpu) and I was wondering if it was useful to configure both even if the display is plugged into the dGpu...

I get the audio in my monitor through hdmi interface of my nvidia, it's fine for my.

The only issue is the volumen controls are not working.

BR,

So just by installing the dGpu the audio Hdmi worked ?

I can't get to work audio and igpu, but so far your thread helped me a lot...Thank you !

Hi Lacafetiere,
I'm not an expert in this, it's was my first machine.

I tested integrated graph but not both of them at same time. Yes, I'm working only with Nvidia card.

Audio over HDMI is working for me, but I don't the precise drive to do that, it was a nice surprise for me.
I never tested Audio over HDMI with integrated card.

I wrote all details of my build, but if you want I check other commands, printouts or settings, you are welcome to ask me.

Good luck.
JI
