FYI: HWmonitor & SMCmonitor aren't giving full realtime info on speedstep/turbo CPU frequencies/states. MSRDumper does (sort of realtime): MSRDumper - insanely-mac Forum . SMCmonitor seems to list possible states correctly under its menu option 'P&C states' as well, but I'm not 100% sure.
I was able to OC my CPU very easily by setting (in BIOS) the multiplier to 38 and turbo ratios to 42-41-40-auto. And add Multibeast i7-OC SSDT. Too easy :]
Anyone know a monitoring app that will show full frequency/state info in realtime?
