Hey everyone,

I understand that the OEM SSDT's follow a naming order of SSDT-1, 2, 3.aml etc. But I'm wondering, if I am adding in a new SSDT to my patched folder, need I follow the same naming sequence? Or can it be named something such as "SSDT-Wake.aml"?

Thanks!

EDIT: My bad, I somehow missed the following part in RehabMan's Guide.

For versions of Clover prior to v3062, SSDTs must be named SSDT-x or SSDT-xx, where 'x' is a digit (up to SSDT-19). Clover allows gaps in the numbering (eg. SSDT-1.aml, SSDT-5.aml, SSDT-6.aml is allowed). Clover version v3062+ will load all *.aml files present in ACPI/patched, with no restrictions on the name.

No restriction on naming.
Keep in mind OEM SSDTs must be loaded in the original order.

If youre just adding SSDTs (like piker's PM) do you need to enable drop tables, or is that only if patching an OEM SSDT?

No. That is only when you're patching existing OEM SSDTs.
Add-on SSDTs are simply placed in ACPI/patched.
