Hello, everyone!

I was patching my DSDT, and I ran into something interesting in my SSDT files. I've attached 2 pictures that show you exactly what I'm talking about. I didn't touch the SSDT files at all other than to check for errors. I haven't messed with them in the past either; Screen Shot 2018-04-13 at 11.58.51 AM.png Screen Shot 2018-04-13 at 11.59.10 AM.png this is my first time opening them.

I followed @RehabMan 's guide, which I found here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.152573/

I realize my computer isn't a laptop, but I was trying to see if I was having the same issue discussed in this forum: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/wake-reason-glan-is-this-a-dsdt-issue.190329/

So, to my question, how do I fix the errors in the picture? I also attached a picture of the file with which I was having the issues.

Very Respectfully,

Kyle

No need to patch that SSDT, so why are you trying to recompile it?

@RehabMan

I'm desperately trying to figure out why my Hack won't sleep. I was following your guide, and I tried to fix my DSDT like you said in this thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/wake-reason-glan-is-this-a-dsdt-issue.190329/

I did what you said, I removed the _PRW, but my computer still won't sleep.

Can you help me figure out why my computer won't sleep, please?

You will need to describe exactly what happens when you attempt Apple->Sleep and wait 30 seconds... (sleep is always delayed by 15-20 seconds, maybe longer if you have active sleep assertions).

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Okay, I think I did it correctly, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm still VERY new to Hackintoshes.

My problem is this: When I put my computer to sleep, it sleeps, but it wakes up in 2-3 seconds. I used the "Wake Reason" terminal command, and it said, "Wake Reason: GLAN". That's why I was following your guide at the aforementioned link.

As you asked, I attached the zip file, and I hope that is has all of the information that you need. Thanks again for all of your help!

PR files are missing EFI/Clover.

But for your situation, you should disable "wake on LAN" in BIOS.

What are "PR" files, and how do I add them?

Also, I tried looking for the "wake on LAN" option in my BIOS, but I couldn't find anything close to that. Does my motherboard for sure have that option in BIOS?

PR = "Problem Reporting".
I'm not familiar with your motherboard... you will need to refer to your BIOS screens and documentation.

@RehabMan

Alright, I think I correctly uploaded my EFI/Clover folder.
