Speed step doesn't work on ASUS Maximus V Gene AFTER patched bios? Do I need reinstall?

Hello, I patched my bios as soon as the modified one was released. But I did it on my PC running 10.8 rather than a reinstall. For first install I used EasyBeast, then the patched AppleIntelCpuPowerManagement kext from 10.7.4. I believe that was my mistake in trying to get native speed step. If there anyway I can get NATIVE speed step (as it's stuck at 16 right now)? Do I need a vanilla AICPM kext? Or a certain bios setting? Any help/ideas will be appreciated!

EDIT: See Below. Got it! Did a fresh install, unfortunately. But with MultiBeast and the DSDT-Free setting got it working with SSDT etc. Is there any reason it goes from 16 to 42 rather than like 16-33-42?
