[SOLVED] System Preferences not responding

Hi guys,

As per title, the System Preferences app freezes after opening the Sharing pane. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue?

Quick background: Fresh Lion 10.7.4 install using the Unibeast method. Had User DSDT file, multibeast and post-installation worked flawlessly. System has been stable and have found no other issues other than this one. I'm using the Lnx2Mac Realtek driver, I did have a funny issue where the eth was not connecting properly initially (was reporting a false 169.x.x.x IP address, i have seen similar posts here with no resolution) but re-installing the Lnx2Mac driver through Multibeast seemed to rectify this one.

System:

Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3R
i7 2600K (Stock)
8GB Kingston HyperX RAM
Gainward GTX580 (3GB)
OCZ Vertex3 120GB

Any ideas on what to try next? Thanks in advance.

Strange. Problem seems to have rectified itself after a few restarts. Thanks anyway.

You did nothing special? 'Cause my preference pane crashes whenever I check off file sharing, and it doesn't fix itself after a few reboots. My whole system freezes and I can't do anything except continue listening to the music that was on :')
