I have a HP Elitebook 840 G1 and I tried to update a second installation of macOS High Sierra that I have on an external hard drive, but every time it reboots to install it shows the Apple logo and a progress bar, the progress bar goes halfway and then stops and the Apple logo turns into a prohibition sign and nothing else happens.

Your PR files are missing EFI/Clover.
Make sure you followed the guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...book-zbook-using-clover-uefi-hotpatch.232948/
(must use beta branch)

Fixed! after hours of research i was finally able to boot and make everything work, Wifi, Bluetooth, Sound etc.... turns out my High Sierra EFI Folder was the problem, I had to create a brand new one.
