[SOLVED] GA-X58A-UD5.F6 no sound using LegacyHDA

I have a rev 1.0 GA-X58A-UD5 board which I flashed to the F6 bios version and then dowloaded the matching DSDT.aml file. The mainboard's manual says it has a Realtek 889 codec.

In Multibeast I selected:

- LegacyHDA / ALC889
- AppleHDA 10.6.2 Rollback

I also tried adding

- HDAEnabler / ALC889

all with no luck. What am I missing?

Silly me. I have had the "Azalia Codec" in the bios disabled. I switched it back to "auto" and it's working fine now.
