[SOLVED] Went back into BIOS and Loaded Optimized Defaults, booted back up and Core i5 show up at 2.67 Ghz.

Thanks TONY!!

Hello,

I had a very stable 10.6.2 for a few weeks and recently completed the 10.6.3 upgrade, using Tony's latest MultiBeast 1.1.0. Audio was the only issue but after deleting HDAenabler in S/L/E, it works now.

However, for whatever reason my CPU is recognized as 2.00 Ghz. It was correctly recognized as 2.66 or 2.67 in 10.6.2. It won't bother me so much if someone can confirm that this is not affecting the performance of this machine. Below is what I get in About This Mac:

Hardware Overview:

Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac11,1
Processor Name: Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 2.00 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 8 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 533 MHz
Boot ROM Version: IM111.0034.B00
SMC Version (system): 1.30f3
Serial Number (system): W895154Z5RU
Hardware UUID: A15B5F15-CE4B-51E4-BAA6-3B34AD8FC85D

Thanks again Tony and all those who have contributed enormous amount of time and experience, making Hackintosh builds so simple! Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you re-flashed the bios, and didn't choose Optimized Defaults, you will get standard settings, which underclock the CPU at 15x. Make sure after each BIOS update, you use Optimized Defaults before making any changes.

How did you know I flashed my BIOS to f8 not too long ago? Anyway, trying it now. Thanks! 4 minute response time from posting the question! I don't think I can pay enough to get this kind of support anywhere else.
