Hello!

I've been using toledaARPT.kext for a while (Sierra, High Sierra and Mojave) for the Atheros AR9287 and it's been working nicely. Currently, I'm testing 10.15 Beta (19A558d), and now Wi-fi is all messed up.

Informations:

• System Information>Hardware>PCI>AR9287 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express)>Driver Installed: No.;
• kextstat | grep IO80211Family shows nothing;
• kextstat | grep com.apple.driver.AirPort.Atheros40 shows nothing;
• SIP is disabled;

Here's what I've tested so far:

• toledaARPT.kext under /S/L/E, /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other, /L/E;
• AirPortAtheros40.kext with <string>pci168c,2e</string> under /L/E, /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other;
• AirPortAtheros40.kext with <string>pci168c,2e</string> under /S/L/E/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/;
• Config.plist>...>FixAirport=yes (can't remember full path);
• Config.plist>...>ForceKextsToLoad>\System\Library\Extensions\IO80211Family.kext;
• Config.plist>...>ForceKextsToLoad>\System\Library\Extensions\IO80211Family.kext\Contents\PlugIns\AirPortAtheros40.kext;

I know that this solution I'm using is not a stable solution, but I never had any issues while using this setup. This is not the case while on Catalina.

UPDATE: recovering from Time Machine was the issue! Now it's working again.

Could you attach the kexts you used?

I am installing fresh so no time machine backup
