I'm sure this has been discussed before, but i had little luck with a search.
I know that regardless of clock speed the about this mac will only show my i7's clock speed at 3.41ghz regardless of overclock, and that it's only cosmetic.
However, i'm building a few systems for friends and it would be cool if i could get it to show 4.0 or 4.2ghz in the about window .. even if i have to enter it manually.
Is there any way to do this??

SOLUTION:
added this string into smbios.plist in extras folder
<key>SMmaximalclock</key>
<string>4200</string>
Now is shows 4.2ghz core i7
