[solved] 4430s (A7K04UT#ABA) Boot Install results in Grey Screen

I've a Probook 4430s (i5, HM65, HD3000) running 10.9.1 that I want to put Yosemite on, so I'm planning a wipe and install with Clover. I've followed the instructions, used different ports and keys, but I'm stuck at the Grey screen with just a mouse cursor. I used Step 2a for install (which is less error prone and ran without any errors) and I've tried the three different config.plist files for 1366x768 screens (normal, blankscreen and chipset 7 -- even though I'm series 6).. The same problem. I'm attaching the troubleshooting information which I got from the PBI-CE running under 10.9.1.

Any suggestions?

Try all USB ports. Both usb2 and usb3 sticks.

Only use the correct confit.plist

To help reduce my variables.. Which is the correct config.plist for this given the troubleshooting info? My feeling is HD3000 1366x768 normal, rather than blankscreen or series 7 chipset?

Correct USB port and correct type of USB drive as well as correct config.plist (of course) are key...
