Hi,

I have a simple question regarding unibeast / clover. I want to take a 8gb flash drive and make a bootable .iso with it for mac os - it will be for backing up mac partitions. I have an .iso file of a backup software and was wondering if unibeast/clover can do this easily. Id rather use this 3rd party software than time machine.

If Im not mistaken Id need to first convert the .iso to a .dmg. Which I can figure out. Then run unibeast to somehow configure the .dmg to boot when drive is plugged in?

Is this the right procedure and if not can someone refresh me on this? Thanks.

UniBeast only works with a USB drive.

Any attempt to create an iso from it's contents is contrary to the UniBeast License Agreement and is piracy.

USB drives are cheaper and more reliable than burnable media.
