Hi everyone,

I'm trying to put my ati 5750 to work, but no success....

My configuration:
MBO ASUS P7P55D-E LX
CPU INTEL CORE I7 870
ATI SAPP.HD 5750 1GB

My steps:
1. iboot
2. Mac OSx 10.6.3 retail - kernel flag: PCIRootUID=1
3. 10.6.7. combo upgrade
4. multibeast - easybeast + systemutil + chameleon ati experimental
(DSDT.aml for some reason wont work, dloaded it from database on this site and i just get fans at 100% after reboot)
changed com.apple.boot.plist - added PCIRootUID=1 to kernel flags
5. reboot
6. now i put my graphics id 0x68BE1002 only in ati5000.kext since the id is already in the other file
7. system utils from multibeast to rebuild caches and permissions
8. restart - and what i get is infinite cog thing under apple....but i think the system did boot up, its just that i dont see the graphics....

so if anyone has any suggestion that would be cool....

edit: just wanted to mention that i can have resolution 1400x1050x32 if i put this into that com.apple.boot.plist:
<key>Graphic Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080x32</string>
ofc, i belive you all agree this is not what this graphic card was intended for ;)

Ok managed to get what i wanted...installed those ati kexts in new multibeast and added my graphic id...

but now on dvi connector my picture is to the right, like 10cm from the left frame of monitor. I tried to fix it in monitor properties but i just cant get it right....any ideas?

Ok, i managed to fix pic on monitor too...now i have everything.

If anyone needs help with similar config and problems i can help now...
