Hi, I'm looking to buy a Digital Storm Bolt PC that runs OS X Mavericks smoothly. Could you please help me verify if these components are compatible? Will the following options work for a reliable hackintosh?

Which of these motherboard choices would be most compatible/recommended?

  • ASUS H87I-PLUS (Intel H87 Chipset) (Mini-ITX)
  • ASUS MAXIMUS VI IMPACT (Intel Z87 Chipset) (Mini-ITX) (SupremeFX Impact, Sonic Radar)

The other components:
  • Intel Core i7 4770K 3.50 GHz (Unlocked CPU)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 3GB (EVGA Superclocked ACX Cooler Edition)
  • Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz RAM
  • Samsung 840 Pro SSD

Thanks for any help!!

Do you plan to OC? If no OC, then go with the H87I-Plus.
If you want to OC, go with the Impact, but be aware the WiFi/BT might not work and the audio might not be supported either, depending on the codec the audio card uses.
