Hi,

For some time I have been researching what to buy for my first hackintosh and now I am somewhat sure what to buy. However, it is nice to get verification from the experts, which is what I hope to get here.

The build has two basic assumptions
1. Sandy Bridge
2. As painless as possible to install

So, how does it look?

Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3
Core i7 I7-2600K
Corsair Vengeance 4 x 4 GB

Intel SSD 320 120gb
Seagate 1TB HDD

Sapphire 5770 1gb

Antec Sonata IV

I would also be very happy to receive general recommendations for alternative pieces of hardware if I have chosen something stupid :)

Thanks in advance!

Regards
Anders

Im not an expert but after reading a lot around here I would have to say that you are not going to have any trouble installing mac.

Tho recommendations from me would be the SSD if you are spending 215$ in an intel might as well spend 299 in: OCZ Vertex 3

which goes double the speed of the intel and you will see the difference.

Intel:
Sequential Access - Read
Up to 270 MB/s

Sequential Access - Write
Up to 130 MB/s
up to 14,000 IOPS random 4 KB writes

OCZ:
Sequential Access - Read
up to 550 MB/s

Sequential Access - Write
up to 500 MB/s
4KB Random Write: 60,000 IOPS

Let me know if you see the difference :p
