So i downloaded latest High Sierra from the app store, and created a bootable drive with Unibeast.

The installer booted fine and after a bit into the installation, it rebooted and I selected the OS X partition in Clover, in which it continued the installation. However not long after, I received the "osinstall.mpkg is missing or damaged" error.

I looked into the boot drive, and there is no osinstall.mpkg file at all. My question is: should it be there if I downloaded High Sierra from the app store? If not, how can I solve this error?

Make sure you follow the Probook guide carefully:

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.
