OS X is only detecting half of my RAM.

Hello! I've gotten El Capitan 10.11.1 pretty much working on my Skylake system, but only 4GB of my 8GB of RAM is being detected, both in System Profiler and Activity Monitor.

I have a single stick of 8GB RAM installed in my computer, so it's not that only one stick is being detected. Furthermore, the full 8 GB is detected and functional in Windows.

I've never heard of anything like this happening before, so does anyone have suggestions as to things I can try? Please tell me if you need more information.

Did you add the following into config.plist?
