In some versions of Windows, it is/was possible to boot directly from the Windows boot loader, to a virtual disk previously configured by VM software. This allowed the potential for a supported guest OS to make optimum use of host system resources.
I have noticed the occasional comment indicating this should also be possible with Clover or OpenCore (booting directly to a virtual macOS volume), however, my searches have revealed nothing definitive.
If anyone has experience setting up such a project and/or can suggest some useful resources, I would appreciate any input. Thanks, all.
