Good evening,
just made my first opencore install with a clean new Big Sur on my Gigabyte H97N-wifi.
i made a migration from timemachine
it seems to work nice, but…
Unfortunately, it seems that even all old kexts in /L/E were migrated (like fakesmc etc).
that was not expected, what to do now?

delete them

Thanks, what is the procedure for deleting them? I’m not yet experienced with SIP disabling in BIG Sur..
same way as you would delete any file in macOS

use Finder, delete, empty trash, reboot

Oh, that simple? Thanks!!!!
yes :)

make sure your kexts you need are in your EFI with opencore, any hackintosh kexts in /L/E can be safely removed
