Aloha! I'm doing my first build in over 15 years so I'm a little rusty.
Mobo is Gigabyte z87x-ud5h, BIOS version F3
I see no option for the HPET 64-bit mode. I'm hoping this is just because it's a newer board and doesn't concern itself with 32.
I'm going off this guide since I have no previous machines running a mac OS. I figured best to start at 10.6.3, get that up and running, and then upgrade to 10.8/10.9 once everything is working well.
Do I need to upgrade my BIOS before proceeding? I'm a virgin hackintosher, so any help is appreciated.
