I have installed Clover using Multibeast on my local EFI partition (there is no pendrive involved). The macOS boots but first runs to the "No Entry Sign" error 4-5 times. It is pretty annoying.

What could cause this? Shall I start troubleshooting at the macOS or the Clover logs?

First of all, boot up in verbose mode. (When you get to the Clover boot up menu, press space to get a list of boot options). You will probably find the system boots up but hangs trying to find a filesystem for the root partition and then gives up with a message "still waiting for root device". If this is the case, you don't have a working kernel level APFS driver available, which you absolutely have to have to get a filesystem up and running. There is an option in the Clover installer to add an APFS driver (apfs.efi); if you can't find this in your EFI partition you won't be able to boot.

Also, make sure your BIOS has its drive settings to "AHCI", the filesystem drivers expect this.
