Hey everyone..

Installed High Sierra 10.13.2 successfully with pretty much everything working, thanks to this guide - https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-dell-7348-i7-using-clover-uefi-10-11.178992/
However, I can't get the Audio to work for the life of me. Used AppleHDA Patcher, Codec Commander initialises according to verbose output. KextsToPatch entries added to config.plist (including Layout ID 3). Installing aDummyHDA.kext to S/L/E using Kext Utility reboots the system after graphics are initialised. Installing fully patched AppleHDA reboots the system. HDAEnabler reboots the system. Added IRQ & HDEF patches to DSDT already. Injecting Layout ID 3 into DSDT gives compilation errors. AppleALC + Lilu doesn't work (thanks to Dell's proprietary ALC 3234 codec - rebranded ALC 255). Don't wanna use VoodooHDA, unstable, distorted audio issues, previous bad experience and stuff. TOTALLY helpless.
ALSO, the brightness slider randomly stops working (changing the brightness) after every boot/reboot. Somebody...??

Your kextcache output proves that no patched AppleHDA components are installed.

Exactly what I'm saying! Installing literally any patched AppleHDA component by AppleHDAPatcher like : aDummyHDA, Fully Patched AppleHDA, HDA Enabler to S/L/E causes the system to reboot exactly after the IGPU is initialised (according to verbose output). Codec Commander is placed in Clover kexts and initializes correctly however.

HDAEnabler.kext not recommended (do the required ACPI patching instead).
Hack kexts should be installed to /L/E.
