I had a Sierra install, working beautifully with my Gigabyte GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 when the motherboard lost its magic smoke.

I built an ASUS Z-390A system with an I7-8700K CPU.

I cannot boot into OS X (I can boot into Windows from another drive). Clover loads, and lets me select the system, and I get the apple icon for about a minute before I get the not sign.

I'm sure there's something on here somewhere about this problem. I'd call it "moving your clover install to another build," but I can't find it.

I welcome any suggestions.

Boot your system in Verbose Mode and post a picture of your screen when it freezes/hangs.
At Clover Boot Screen press space bar and select Verbose (-v) and Don't reboot on panic (debug=0x100).

Thanks, BreBo. I started with a fresh config.plist, and got it working.
