For some reason, whenever I plug in my iPad, I get a message that "USB Accessory needs power". I have not made any changes to my system in a while aside from upgrading to 10.12.6 a while ago. USB drives seem to work just fine. I have never used a DSDT with my current system and everything was functioning as far as I know without a DSDT file. I have attached my config.plist and IOreg file.

Could someone please have a look at these files to see if three's anything in there that could prevent iPads from connecting via USB?

The iPad needs more wattage than the average external device. It seems that your USB port is not supplying enough juice. You can safely ignore it as long as the iPad is charged, but if you need the computer to charge it I recommend using an external USB hub with a separate wall wart.
