Finally got around to upgrading, after initial kernel panics, alll working better than ever.
Very important to remove any previous versions of sleepenabler from your extra/extensions folder prior to the update.
There is a new (10.6.8 optimized) version of this kext - use the google.
Not sure why but am no longer getting the 'you have inserted a blank disc" error where compy swallows cds and cant eject until reboot.
