Hi,

Last week I've finshed the build of my second hackintosh (i'm also running OSX on a ProBook 4530s, but was in desperate need of a very decent audio workstation), works flawlessly!

Now however, i want to install Windows on it also. The machine has the following drives:

SATA 0 port: Samsung 256GB SSD (bootdrive, Chimera installed)
SATA 1 port: 4TB data drive (purely for OSX, moved my homedir to that drive also)

I'm extending it today with another 1TB drive (will be connected on SATA 2 port). This is the drive i'll be installing Windows to. (i'll be disconnecting SATA 0 and SATA 1 just in case)

Now the question:

Since SATA 0 and SATA 1 will be disconnected (and henceforth, invisible for windows during installation), Windows will install it's bootloader on SATA 2 port connected drive. Will chimera pick up the windows installation in this drive automatically?

Couldn't find the info on the forum, only information I found was with multiple partitions in one drive, and that's not what i'm looking for :)

Thanks a bunch!

Short, but very helpfull answer. Just what I needed to know :)
