Hi,
I'm trying to install OSX Yosemite on a USB Harddrive (then create a fusiondrive). But I read some conflicting topics about patching it or not. The question is, do I need to patch my bios or not for this motherboard? I can't boot in the installer as of now (Apple logo flashes briefly then PC restarts).
I've used UEFIPatch with the following results:
Specs:
MSI Z87-G45 gaming
Intel I7 4770K
16GB DDR3 Memory
Nvidi Geforce GTX 970
2x 500gb HD in Raid 0
1x 250GB Samsung 840 Evo
And to create the fusion drive:
1x 250GB Samsung 850 Evo
1x 1TB Western digital Green
