Moving a Hackintosh dual boot config to very different hdw

I had an Asus X58 based Hackintosh which was dual booting with Win 7. So I moved my OS X disk and my Windows drive to a Z68 system. OS X was no problem as I rebuilt the hackintosh and used migration wizard from my main macbook pro. However moving the windows 7 install was a chore which took about a week to figure out. So if anyone has issues with this - feel free to ask me. Microsoft does not support movement of OS to different hardware but it can be done - sometimes.
