I am not seeing much in the way of bypassing the APFS and sticking with HFS+. Anyone successfully upgraded from High Sierra and kept the HFS+? If so, how?
Someone suggested a patch by someone named "Crazybird" but I was wondering if there was a less convoluted way like there was with High Sierra.
Now. All that said, I don't have an issue with converting to APFS as long as it works, I can use Clonezilla and I won't lose access to any software I currently own. In the past when I tried it, I found it to not feel right for some reason. It felt sluggish.
