I had the same problem and decided to just copied the extra folder from my Unibeast stick.

wow thanks for this old tip. Before I created my hackintosh I was testing Snow Leopard retail DVD in virtual box. It installed properly but I could never get the virtual disk to load without iboot even after running multibeast. After days and long hours searching for solutions and hunting I found this post and I unhid my files but could not find the "extra" folder. So I copied the extra folder from iboot CD then reran multibeat and waaalaaa it boots.
