MacPro6,1 is inappropriate for your hardware.

You should use everyman.com or the free MacTracker app to help you select something more suitable.

I think I understand what you're saying. Based on the hardware I have, the guy who sold me the Hackintosh recently likely used something like Clover to make it look like it was a MacPro6,1, when, in actual fact, it is an earlier model. More likely a MacPro4,1. I'm a very genuine person and love getting screwed.

If I've misunderstood what you meant, please let me know. Otherwise, thanks for the heads-up.

Might not be as bad as I thought. Looks like a MacPro5,1 (mid-2012), based on the components. Still, that's not what the guy sold me.
