missing macOS partitions from the OC troubleshooting guide

Thanks for the checklist. Made the change for ScanPolicy setting, but USB Ventura beta installer still unable to see target drive.

As an alternative, downloaded Ventura beta to Monterey 12.4 and installed complete file (about 12.06 GB) on internal drive. Install was fine until reboot from Data partition, and then system entered a boot loop as mentioned by OP.

I've gone about it both ways. Found the USB route to be the better of the two.

Direct upgrade from Monterey, OC version 0.8.3. No problems at all.

@scottkendall, @craighazan, @Edhawk - many thanks guys for helpful hints and other info regarding macOS Ventura beta install on Signature/300 Series-1 build

The key for me was updating to OpenCore 0.8.3, which seemed to cure a boot loop after the the first restart. Also, updating the ASUS Z370-A BIOS (latest=2801), as recommended by Dortania, may have helped.
