Could we be looking at ARM on its way for Apple? It's reported in the article that Windows 8 will support ARM and x86.

Apple has gone from Motorola 6800 to IBM PPC to Intel and now that Apple owns an ARM license and acquired both PA Semi and Intrinsity it seems quite possible, even likely another change is in the air.

It wouldn't surprise me if they purchase or open their own fabs at some point as they are using ARM in all their products save the Mac line......over 10 million ARM chips a month.
