@iPinas - thanks for your reply, gave me the confidence to give it a go. Downloaded the standalone installer, ran it - thought "wait, this is a 'security' update not a 'combo' update, do I really need to run Multibeast after?" And as you didn't mention Multibeasting after I decided to risk it an just told it to restart. No issues - booted normally, Software Update says my system is up to date.
