Hi people,

Maybe someone can give me the information, if this notebook can be switched into a hackbook with snow leopard or lion:

Lenovo G780 M 842Q GE-B960
2,2 GHZ dualcore
chip: Intel MM76 express
Intel HD 4000 graphics
shared VRAM

I received the information that there is only one graphic chip installed and the WLAN card cant be changed.So WLAN may doesnt,t work
but thats not so important for me, if the internet cable connection works

What CPU is in this laptop?
Wired ethernet will depend on the specific ethernet chip in the laptop.

WLAN Chip: BCM 413 HM GB
Ethernet Chip: Atheros AR 8162

Is it possible to run cable internet on Hackintosh with this chip?

Multibeast has an Atheros Ethernet driver:

Enables Atheros AR8132 Fast Ethernet, AR8131 Gigabit Ethernet, AR8151 v1.0 Gigabit Ethernet, AR8151 v2.0 Gigabit Ethernet, AR8152 v1.1 Fast Ethernet and AR8152 v2.0 Fast Ethernet controllers. Created by maolj and updated by thecandle. Installs AtherosL1cEthernet.kext in /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns.

I don't know if the 8162 is supported... it is not listed.

And the Pentium B960 is not HD4000, but just Intel HD Graphics, so you might have some difficulty there...
