Hi

Kextd stall IOHDACodecFunction

I am getting this after adding AppleACL - Cannot say that this is the trigger for the fault though.
After quite sometime I get Black screen and nothing more happens

I have tried Safe Mode without luck - it Will not boot in Safe

Any chance to get this back to a working installation?

HP Compaq Pro 6300 Microtower (3470 i5)
Nvidia GT730 card (onboard Graphics HD2500 is disabled in Bios)

Everything worked besides the audio so I added the AppleACL and also Fake

Please advise

I had this problem as well. Reason was AppleALC.kext. More detailed explanation here:

UPDATE: Found a solution for this!

YEP - AppleALC.kext was the sinner - Used Voodoo instead and now it works
