It would be nice if Multibeast would have a option to install kext to the efi partition instead of s/l/e.

This would be useful for anyone who use kext on the efi partition.

why is /Library/Extensions. best practice ? Is there any advantage ?

One advantage in placing kext not in /Library/Extensions is that you don't need to reinstall any kext after system update.

Apple specifies that ALL third party kexts be installed in /Library/Extensions. That is the best practice.

Unless it's a third party kext installed by Apple, it will never be changed by a system update.
