iWork 09 install fail... time to reinstall?

Tony's install worked great but right after I did a bunch of things to get the CMOS reset, sound, and video card working. All the problems seemed to be solved but I wonder if I just over did it.
First I had a problem with Geekbench, that Tronic was kind enough to help me with. Now I can't seem to install iWork 09. The install fails 1/4 of the way through.

Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? Is there an "easy" way to return the system to stock settings without reinstalling? I'm just wondering if all my tinkering messed things up more than I might have know.

Run the 10.6.2 Combo Update again. At least your kexts will be in order. Also, grab a copy of an edited DSDT from the DSDT Database while you work on your own edits.

Otherwise, a fresh install is relatively painless
