I bought the Mountain Lion USB from my local Apple store and would like to know how to install it on my Samsung series 7 laptop.
I'm running win8 on it now. It has a Intel i7 2.2 GHz, 16GB ram , 1Tb hard-drive and 8Gb ssd cache and I will be dual booting.
Can someone show me the steps I need to go though?

Thanks.

According to the Apple, Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8) is only available as a download from the Apple Mac App store.

Sorry I have not bought it yet, but I though they sold them at the store.
So am I going to have to find a mac to set up the usb?

buy the snow leopard dvd then look at the guides in the forum
basically its a few bios settings
check recommended parts for minimal install drama..
download multibeast ,dsdt for your chipset.some uefi boards dont need dsdt
tweek 10.6.2 then update to 10.6.8
download unibeast, download the mountain lion app from the app store
generate the usb installer(for mountain lion)
install(boot from usb) on top of operating 10.6.8 install
be aware that u may have issues with(advanced format drives) these are usually 1tb or larger
there is a fix for that too...
