Installing Mac Os Sonoma on Lenovo YOGA C740

Hello

I am planing to upgrade my Lenovo yoga c740 from Catalina to Sonoma.

Has anyone tried to create an EFI and install Sonoma on:
Yoga C740-14IML Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 81TC
FHD IPS display Multi-Touch
Intel® Core™ i7-10510U
Intel UHD Graphics 630 (Mobile) / GPU VRAM: 1536 MB
Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB
RAM 8+8 DDR4 2667MHz

I tried with the EFI folder I am using booting Catalina it cannot be used for booting Sonoma.

Why are you not using Google to find a premade EFI? Release looks recent to me, I would stay with Ventura, though, since Sonoma is still too new.

I tried various EFIs, but most of them are for i5 processor. I tried one witch built for i7 with no success. Unfortunately I cannot find any compatible EFI even for Ventura. I am stuck to Catalina.

It's not impossible that the CPU makes a difference for the EFI you found, but it's unlikely. Your problem is probably somewhere else.
