Hello everyone,
i just upgraded my HW from an i7 4790k and Gigabyte z97X to an i7 9700k w/ an MSI MPG z390 Gaming Edge Ac.
Obviously i got no luck when i tried to boot from my old High sierra install w/o changing anything, so i decided to reinstall the whole OS.
I used Unibeast and tried to start from the usb stick but it stops at pci_configuration_end and then it says something about apfs and then nothing.
I don't know where start cause i haven't changed cpu/mb in a while.

ALMOST SOLVED!!! Patched ACPI with the line discussed in this post: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/fix-for-boot-hangs-after-bios-update-acpi-patch.275091/page-6. and now i get into installation but w/o mouse and keyboard, working on it

Hi, thanks for the suggestions, i was able to boot to my previous installation of macos High Sierra i had with my i7 4790k, and i already had USBInjectAll in that installation. I patched SSDT for USB port mapping.
Audio seems to work with applealc without any changes (Layout = 2), had to reinstall nvidia driver dunno why.
The only things that remains to set up are IGPU for HW Acc and check if Power management works.
