Really? What was the last supported version of MacOS for yorkfield like architectures?

EDIT: The last the AI search bot told me, it was a Penryn era based architecture used to build a Yorkfield CPU. Is this true?

yes really! you have a very old cpu

maybe High Sierra

Alright, thanks for the tip, I'll try High sierra. My CPU was manufactured from the year of 2008/2009.

Now it's saying that the High Sierra recovery server could not be contacted, is there a fix?

in recovery, open up terminal and pop in:

nvram IASUCatalogURL="http://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-10.13-10.12-10.11-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog"

and see if that helps
