(i7 960, GA-X58A, 560GTX) need recommendation 4 CustoMac Pro

Hey Guys, Hey Pros,

I'm planning to build my first CustoMac Pro.
I'm not sure about my hardwaresetup if it will function properly, so i want as less stress as possible

Im an Video-Editor and the most important requirement for me is to run Final Cut and After Effects.

And this are my chosen compilation :

* 1 x Mobo : Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R LGA1366, max. 24GB DDR3-2200
* 1 x CPU: Intel Core i7 Processor i7-960 3,2Ghz (4C / 8T) 4.80GT/s QPI Boxed 8MB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache 130W
* 1 x CPU Fan: BE Quiet Dark Rock Pro C1
* 3 x RAM: Corsair XMS3 4GB Kit, DIMM DDR3-1333 / PC3-10600 CL9-9-24 240pin
* 1 x HD 120 GB OCZ Vertex2 E SSD (2.5") SATA2
* 1 x HD 1 TB Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX (3.5") 7200U/min 64MB Cache SATA3
* 1 x Video card: MSI GTX560-TI TWIN FROZER II/OC PCI-E2.0 1024MB GDDR5
* 1 x Power Supply: BE Quiet BQT s6-SYS-UA-700W 700Watt

so i would be happy to have some 360-degree feedback on this.
in scense of the price i'm also wondering if this i7 960 is necessary - is the i7 950 comparable?

If you are opt for OOB working build, then select something that is confirmed working like the ATI HD5770.

As for CPU, if the i7-960 is for the same price as i7-950, then YES. Your alternative is to a good cooler and over clock your CPU to above 4.0GHz which can be done easily.
