i5 2500k and MSI Z77A-GD65, will they work?

With Microcenter having crazy deals like a 2500k @ $100 and the MSI Z77A-GD65 @ $155, I think it's time to build a myself a Hackintosh.

Only one problem, the Z77A-GD65 isn't listed as a supported motherboard on here(at least I couldn't find it), so does anyone know if it'll work?

Not only that but its a Sandy Bridge CPU with a Ivy Bridge mobo, I know for a fact that it'll work for Windows 7, but I'm not too sure about it working for a Hackintosh.

Help appreciated!

It will work. I used a 2500K in my Z77A-GD65 when I first was testing it while waiting for the 3770K to arrive.
Thanks to samisnake and others, we have a patched BIOS for the board which will allow native AppleIntelCPUPowermanagement.kext to work for speedstep and sleep. See http://biosrepo.wordpress.com/
