I can't burn any disc - Optiarc 7280s

hello! I have a optiarc 7280s writer. At first it was just fine. Now everytime that i try to burn a disc it doesn't work.
when I use toast titanium it says something like " error in the enterface: 3" but this also happens with other burning software. I've wasted a lot of cds

what could be wrong with it? I didn't change anything
by the way I've upgraded to mavericks but this also happened in mountain lion

I tried also the software called Burn. same result

This will ensure that your DVD Drive is detected as Internal instead of External, which is a problem that started when Mountain Lion was released.

thanks for the help. I installed the kext but same result. the burning process stops and interface error message comes out

Connected to another sata port on the motherboard and it works perfectly fine now!
