I have been trying to get High Sierra to boot on to the Mavericks running system. I have created the boot disk according to the information that has been posted with no problem. My issue is when I try to boot from the memory stick in always just boots into Mavericks and I cannot get to my my bios to choose the start up disk because Mavericks just takes over I must be missing something but not sure what. I had to do a clean install when my system died last week and loaded to a new Samsung 1T SSD. I have been using Mavericks for the past five years which I originally loaded from Tony Mac. I will attach a couple of files but I don't know what else to try
