Just to let you know that the HP 260 Mini G1 with i3 CPU is fully compatible (sans wifi). I first tried it on a Pentium-based 260, but that didn't work. These little computers are quite affordable now and even smaller than a Mac Mini (2 cm width and depth and 2 mm height).

It's been years since I last built a Mac*, took a few days to get into the Kext and plist stuff again, but in the end it was not too hard to pull off.

Audio = Realtek ALC221 with built-in speaker, using VoodooHDA.kext

NIC = Realtek RTL8151GH-CG but using the RTL8111 kext instead

Graphics needed a bit of tweaking of config.plist and I used both FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext which I installed using Kextbeast. QE and CI works.

D-SUB (VGA) and DisplayPort are hot pluggable

It uses a series 8 chipset as the CPU is an i3-4030U. I replaced the harddisk with a SSD that I had laying around.
